MicroSol Technologies Inc. consists of a world-class multi-functional team of innovative, experienced, and passionate professionals. The company was founded and started operations by bootstrap funding from the founders, angel investors, and government research grants.

We offer experience in various fields of the semiconductor industry from material science, electric device development and system implementation. 



Yuanning Chen

Yuanning is CEO and Co-founder of MicroSol Technologies, offering innovative energy solutions. She holds a doctorate in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University, and is a prolific publisher and inventor. She brings the team expertise in semiconductor processing, energy harvesting, metal organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD), and atomic layer deposition (ALD).


Formerly a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Texas Instruments, Debbie is CTO of MicroSol and holds a doctorate in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State. Her specialty is semiconductors, surface preparation, and device integration.


Diego Barrera

Diego Barrera is a research scientist involved with the design, fabrication and characterization of semiconductor devices for their implementation in novel electronic applications. Diego holds a PhD degree in Materials Science and engineering from the University of Texas at Dallas. 



Chunya is a Research Scientist primarily involved in the characterization of electronic devices. She holds a doctorate in Microelectronics and Solid State Electronics from Nankai University, China. Dr. Wu has been involved in the research of electrospun polymer nano-fibers and demonstrated the feasibility and benefits of novel solar cells made from electrospun polymer nano-fibers
